Rakesh Jhunjhunwala With 32 shares and net worth of Rs 32,000 crore

 In the quarter of June  2022, his net worth was  around Rs 25,425, down 25%, the biggest drop since March 2020, from Rs 33,754  a quarter ago.

RJ's best known and most talked about holdings are jewelry and watch maker Titan Co. RJ holds a 5.05% stake in  Tata Group, which is conservatively valued  at Rs 11,000 crore

Billionaire Warren Buffet Rakesh Jhunjhunwala of India passed away after an illness on Sunday, leaving behind 32 shares with a net worth of more than Rs 31,904.8. 

 At the end of Q6 Jhunjhunwala's net worth was at Rs 25,425 crore. This is after the steepest drop of 25% since March 2020 from Rs 33,754 crore a quarter ago. In August, the value recovered to Rs 31,834 crore, according to Trendline.com. This is what made Dalal Street's Big Bull  a legend. 

         In March 2020, his portfolio fell about 33% to Rs 8,355 crore from Rs 12,554 crore sequentially. But the  investor turned the tables and his portfolio quadrupled since March 2020 in the late 1980s and early 1990s. 

 Jhunjhunwala's biggest bet was on Titan Co. Ltd. In 2002-03, he bought shares at an average price of Rs 3 per piece. Shares are currently trading at  Rs 2,140, ​​he owns more than 4.49 crore shares of Titan Company. He and his wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala owned 5.1% shares of the company as of June 2022, worth Rs 11,086. 

 The second largest stock in its portfolio is Star Health & Allied Insurance Co Ltd.  Jhunjhunwala and his wife jointly own 10.07 crore shares in the company, equivalent to over Rs 8,000 crore. 

 The third most valuable stock in its portfolio is Tata Motors Ltd, which owns approximately 3.62 crore shares worth Rs 1,731 crore. In Fortis Healthcare and CRISIL Ltd,  he holds 3.2 crore and 21.29 lakh shares, worth Rs 899  and Rs 693  respectively. 

 Besides his investments, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is also a film producer. He has produced films such as English-Vinglish, Shamitabh and Ki and Ka.
