Jarusalem : Emphasizing that India-Israel relations are based on "mutual appreciation and meaningful cooperation", Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett  said he will visit India in the first week of April to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the year. year of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. 

 The visit also aims to expand  cooperation between the two countries in the fields of innovation and technology, security and cyber security, agriculture and climate change. 

 "Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will make his first official visit to India on Saturday,  April 2, 2022, at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi", Foreign Communications Adviser to the Prime Minister of Israel said in a statement.

The two leaders met for the first time on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow last October when Prime Minister Modi  invited Prime Minister Bennett to pay an official visit to India, according to a press release. solstice.

 Sources familiar with the matter told PTI  it will be a four-day visit from April 2 to April 5.

 Bennett will meet his Indian counterpart, senior government officials as well as the local Jewish community during his visit.
