594 km long, worth Rs 36,000 crore: PM Modi to lay foundation stone of Ganga Expressway in UP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the 594-km long Ganga Expressway in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur on Saturday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the 594 km Long Ganga Expressway in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur on Saturday. The six-lane expressway, built at a cost of Rs 36,230 crore, is being tipped as the longest expressway in Uttar Pradesh.



Starting near Bijauli village in Meerut, the expressway will extend till near Judapur Dandu village in Prayagraj. With a better network and interconnectivity of expressways, every end of Uttar Pradesh will be connected to Lucknow and Delhi.

The program of laying the foundation stone of Ganga Expressway by PM Modi will begin at Railway Ground Rauza from Shahjahanpur at 12 pm.
