Coronavirus Updates : India Reports 7,081 Cases In Last 24 Hours

Coronavirus Update: Active cases in the country account for less than 1% of total cases. 

New Delhi: India reported 7,081 fresh COVID-19 cases and 264 deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday. The country's active caseload currently stands at 83,913, lowest in 570 days.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW),  active cases in the country account for less than 1% of all cases, currently at 0.24%, the lowest level since March last year. .


Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health  issued a statement saying, "India's vaccination coverage rate against COVID19 today surpassed the historic milestone of 137 crore (137,37,66,189). 69,21,097) doses of vaccine  have been administered as of 7pm today The daily vaccination count is expected to increase with the final compilation of the day's reports later tonight.
